Treasure Communications Limited is a leading BTL agency operating in Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania and Burundi in areas General Sales, Promotions, Merchandising, Route- to -Market, Roadshows among others.
Job Summary: We are looking for a Human Resource Executive, Uganda to oversee HR functions, drive employee engagement, and ensure compliance with HR policies and labour laws.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding and employee orientation processes.
- Maintain and update HR policies and procedures in compliance with labor laws.
- Manage employee records, contracts and payroll processing in coordination with the finance team.
- Handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary matters.
- Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
- Implement HR best practices to promote a positive work environment.
- Monitor staff performance, appraisals, and succession planning.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the workplace.
- Assist in employee engagement initiatives to boost morale and productivity.
- Provide HR reports and insights to the management for strategic decision-making.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- A Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR role, or a similar role, preferably in FMCG or a marketing agency.
- Knowledge of Ugandan labor laws and HR compliance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficiency in HR software and MS Office applications.
