Human Resource and Administration Manager

Job Purpose 

Human Resource Managers are professionals tasked with strategic planning for staffing, conducting interviews, and hiring personnel to foster a productive work

Company background 

  • Appliance World Ltd are the authorized agents of LG Appliances who have been in existence since 2001.
  • Appliance World Ltd, Uganda is a retail and distribution company headquartered in Kampala.
  • Appliance World Ltd, Uganda is the distributor of LG products

 

Duty station- Appliance World Ltd, Head Office, Bugolobi, Kampala.

Reporting to: Managing Director

Responsibilities 

  • To ensure that all administrative issues are looked after, eg; staff contracts, monthly approvals, routine payments for electricity, water, etc; ensuring that statutory licenses are in place, leave approvals, processing of payroll, recording of attendance.
  • To ensure that all employees are kept happy by addressing all issues, complaints, etc.
  • To be in charge of recruitment
  • The right person will head the entire Human Resource Department and look after over 150 employees.

Candidate specification 

  • Educational requirements Any Degree
  • Work experience. More Than 3 Years

Critical skills required 

Outstanding skills, knowledge and other attributes. Eg creative skills, negotiation skills, communication skills.
