Background information about the job or company:

MJAP works to build partnerships and strengthen health systems to optimally respond to HIV/AIDS, TB, Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and other diseases of public health importance in Africa.

Responsibilities or duties:

• Support transportation of laboratory specimens and test results for various tests.
• Support electronic tracking of laboratory samples and test results.
• Maintain proper records for motorcycle mileage and submit monthly fuel accountabilities.
• Ensure regular maintenance of the Laboratory hub motorcycle.
• Support redistribution of essential laboratory commodities within the district.

Qualifications or requirements:

• Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) or its equivalent.
• Possession of a valid riding permit.
• Experience in motorcycle riding and maintenance.
• Good knowledge of road safety and traffic regulations.
• Good knowledge and skills for proper handling and transportation of infectious and hazardous substances.
• Previous experience with PEPFAR funded programs.
• Good people skills and ability to work under minimal supervision.
