Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.

On behalf of our client China Petroleum Pipeline Engineering Co. Ltd (CPP), we are looking for competent, skilled, and experienced HSE Supervisor   to work at site.

Activities

The position holder shall have the following responsibilities:

• Provide strong safety leadership by promoting a safety-first culture, conducting safety meetings, and ensuring that safety policies and procedures are followed.
• Monitor and enforce environmental regulations related to pipeline operations.
• Lead and participate in incident investigations, reporting, and follow-up to prevent reoccurrence, implement corrective actions as needed.
• Conduct risk assessments for pipeline projects and operations, identifying potential hazards and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Develop and deliver HSE training programs for employees, contractors, and subcontractors involved in pipeline activities.
• Stay up to date with local, state, and federal HSE regulations and ensure that the company remains in compliance with all applicable laws.
• Develop and oversee emergency response plans and drills, ensuring that all personnel are trained and prepared for emergencies.

Requirements

Mandatory Experiences required

Education: At least a bachelor’s degree plus a NEBOSH certification.

Experience:

• 5 years working experience in construction, offshore, fabrication and ideally oil and gas construction.
• Member of recognized industry body (IOSH, IEMA, IRCA etc.)
• Experience in HSE-related Uganda, municipality regulations and industry best practices.
• Strategic thinking and leadership and planning skills.
•  Strong business orientation and analytical skills.
• Ability to interact at client and senior management level and represent the company externally with government and other 3rd parties.
• Excellent written and verbal communication
