Summary:

This role involves executing core HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, HR administration, and compliance. Brief Job Summary:
Your mission will be analysing HR metrics, conducting research on workforce trends, and providing recommendations to improve HR policies and processes.
Key Duties & Job Responsibilities
1.Recruitment & Onboarding
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, including job postings, shortlisting, interviews, and selection.
- Conduct employee onboarding, ensuring a seamless transition for new hires.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and reports.
2 .Employee Relations & Engagement
- Act as the first point of contact for employee queries, resolving HR-related issues effectively.
- Support conflict resolution and grievance handling in line with company policies.
- Assist in organising employee engagement initiatives and team-building activities.
3. HR Administration & Compliance
- Maintain up-to-date employee records, contracts, and HR databases.
- Process payroll inputs, leave management, and statutory compliance.
- Ensure adherence to labour laws and company policies.
4. Performance & Training Support
- Support the implementation of performance management processes.
- Assist in identifying training needs and coordinating training sessions.
- Maintain training records and reports.
5. HR Reporting & Data Management
- Prepare HR reports, including recruitment, turnover, and employee trends.
- Ensure HR data accuracy and confidentiality.

Person Specifications:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or a related field.
Years of Experience:
- 2-4 years of experience in HR generalist experience
Skills required to perform the Job:
- Proficiency in Excel, HRIS systems, SQL, and data visualisation tools like Power BI or Tableau..
- Proficient in Uganda labour laws and HR best practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS, Microsoft Office, Google Suite
- Organised and detail-oriented.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a proactive approach.
