JOB DETAILS:
This role plays a pivotal role in the efficient functioning of the HR department. Responsible for a variety of HR and administrative tasks, the officer will contribute to the success of the organization by supporting recruitment efforts, ensuring smooth onboarding processes, maintaining employee records, and handling employee relations. This role offers the opportunity for professional growth and development within the field of HR.
Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Selection:
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from posting job vacancies to onboarding new hires.
• Source candidates through various channels and assist in conducting initial candidate assessments.
• Schedule and coordinate interviews, ensuring a seamless interview process.
• Conduct reference checks and background screenings for potential hires.
• Onboarding and Orientation:
• Coordinate and facilitate new hire orientation sessions, ensuring a comprehensive introduction to the organization.
• Process new hire paperwork, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor and ensure the completion of all required onboarding tasks by new employees.
• Employee Records and Documentation:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and files.
• Ensure compliance with document retention and confidentiality policies.
• Update and manage HR databases and systems efficiently.
• Performance Management:
• Support the implementation of performance management processes, including goal-setting, performance reviews, and development plans.
• Assist in tracking and analyzing employee performance data.
• HR Policies and Compliance:
• Contribute to the development, communication, and enforcement of HR policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, updating policies as needed.
Employee Relations:
• Handle employee inquiries and requests, providing timely and effective resolutions.
• Collaborate with the HR team to address employee concerns and issues.
• Participate in employee engagement initiatives and activities to foster a positive work environment.
• Conflict Resolution:
• Support in resolving workplace conflicts and disputes.
• Assist in conducting investigations into employee complaints and grievances.
• Health and Safety:
• Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
• Assist in the development and communication of health and safety policies.
• Training and Development:
• Organize and support training sessions and workshops for employee development.
• Track and monitor employee training and development activities to enhance skills and competencies.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven knowledge of HR principles and practices.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Google Office & Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
• Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of HR.
