JOB DETAILS:

Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences; or Development Studies; or Housing studies from a recognized University/ Institution.

Duties
The incumbent will be responsible to the Senior Housing Officer for performing the following duties:-

-        Supporting in organising and implementing public awareness campaigns on housing standards and regulations;

-        Supporting the implementation of programs and projects to ensure adherence to regulations, guidelines and standards;

-        Supporting the establishment and nurturing development of housing cooperatives and housing savings groups in the country;

-        Supporting capacity buildings initiatives in local governments and other sector stakeholders for the implementation of human settlement programs;

-        Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
