Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in guest rooms and public areas. The ideal candidate should be hardworking, trustworthy, and committed to providing a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for all guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean, dust, and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas.
- Change linens, make beds, and replenish amenities as needed.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and materials are used and stored safely and correctly.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or lost & found items to the supervisor.
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene protocols.
- Restock cleaning supplies and inform management when inventory is low.
- Handle guests’ requests promptly and professionally.
- Adhere to established cleaning checklists and schedules.
- Cooperate with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Respect guest privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a housekeeper, room attendant, or in a similar cleaning role is preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good physical stamina; ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic understanding of English or the local language.
