Job Summary:
We are looking for a friendly and professional Hotel Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive a warm welcome and excellent service throughout their stay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the hotel
- Check guests in and out efficiently and accurately
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries
- Handle bookings, reservations, and cancellations
- Provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions
- Handle payments, invoices, and basic cash handling
- Address guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally
- Work closely with housekeeping and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role (hospitality experience is a plus, at least 1 year)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in busy or stressful situations
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma or certificate in hospitality or a related field
- At least a minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service in hospitality
