We offer a unique dining and events experience, featuring beautifully landscaped gardens, a charming restaurant, and versatile event spaces for weddings, corporate functions, and private celebrations.
Job Purpose: To create and deliver exceptional guest experiences at Zuka Country Outdoors.The role combines high quality hospitality management with creative event planning and execution, ensuring that both daily operations and special events run smoothly, delight guests, and reflect the unique charm of our setting and environment.
You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring exceptional service and the successful delivery of events with optimal efficiency. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to create unforgettable experiences for our guests and promote venue reputation as a premier outdoor destination.
Responsibilities:
Operational Management: Supervise restaurant and garden operations, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, service quality and making strategic decisions to improve operations efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Event Planning and Coordination: Design and coordinate a variety of events,including weddings, corporate retreats, private parties, and seasonal celebrations. You will need to collaborate with clients in order to customize event packages that align with their vision, needs, and budget.
Guest Relations and Experience Management: Maintain excellent customer/guest relationship by providing exceptional service and attend to their needs throughout their visit, address any complaints promptly and resolve any issues conclusively. Working with the relevant staff, the Hospitality and Events Executive is responsible for ensuring that guests are provided with a seamless dining experience, from seating to service and ambiance.
Staff Training and Development: Lead training programs to ensure staff members uphold high standards of hospitality and guest service.
Health and safety compliance: Ensure that Zuka Country Outdoors comply with health, safety regulations and environmental standards.
Marketing and Business Development: Work closely with the marketing and sales team to develop promotional strategies, partnerships, and events to attract and retain customers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, event planning, or a related field is preferred
- Proven experience in hospitality and event management preferably in an outdoor setting
- Strong leadership, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team
- Passion for hospitality, gardening, and creating memorable guest experiences in a natural, outdoor setting
- Familiarity with local sourcing, farm-to-table concepts, and sustainable practices is a plus
- Knowledge of outdoor dining, garden management, and event planning is preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Salary and Benefits: Depending on the experience, determination to grow the company profitability and availability of resources, the Hospitality and Events Executive shall be paid a competitive gross package alongside other benefit.
