JOB DETAILS:
Reports To: Head Teacher
Duty Station: Kiryandongo Refugee Settlement
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare schemes of work, lesson plans, and conduct lessons based on the approved curriculum.
• Manage student behavior and apply appropriate disciplinary measures.
• Maintain class records, including registers, progress reports, and inventories.
• Participate in student assessments, co-curricular activities, and professional development programs.
• Ensure child safeguarding and uphold ethical practices.
• Research and update teaching materials and curriculum.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Subjects & Positions Available:
1. Biology/Chemistry – 2 positions
2. Physics/Mathematics – 1 position
3. ICT – 1 position
4. English/Literature – 1 position
5. History/CRE – 1 position
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
• Diploma in Secondary Education (Degree is an added advantage).
• Registered with the Ministry of Education, Sports, Science, and Technology.
• At least 2 years of professional teaching experience preferred.
• Letter of recommendation detailing good conduct is mandatory.
