Highways Resident Engineer/ Team Leader - Uganda

The market leading infrastructure recruitment specialist is seeking an experienced Highways Resident Engineer/ Team Leader to lead the construction supervision of a major highway project in Uganda.

Opportunity

My client is a leading European consultancy firm who are requiring this expert as a matter of urgency. This will be a good opportunity to play a leading role in the successful delivery of this infrastructure improvement project.

Responsibilities On The Project

The successful individual shall be required to lead the supervision of construction activities, managing contractors, compiling progressing reports and handling contractual matters. The position shall be supported by a team of engineers including contract managers, material specialists etc. You shall be working on behalf of the client on this donor funded scheme.

Key Requirements For The Role

• Engineering Degree in civil engineering (Masters would be beneficial)
• 15+ years of Highway construction supervision experience
• Regional experience would be beneficial

Salary Package

The salary on offer is around $10-11,000 plus a package consisting of accommodation, flights, insurances etc.
