Responsibilities
Job Purpose
Supervise all frontline HSE activities and plans in support of Company site operational plans
• Develop procedures and guidelines to address operational sites’ HSE issues and operational risk profile of the asset areas.

• Supervise the implementation of effective emergency response in all worksites.
• Lead the process of developing operational sites – Sites Company’s HSE plans and targets in consultation with the Head of QHSSE.
• Analyze past year performance and set operational sites challenging targets for upcoming years

• Develop and maintain operational sites HSE documents.

• Make sure that all documents are in their right place and that they are available for auditing when needed.

• Supervise the identification of essential basic HSE training needs and their frequency for employees.
• Conduct internal management of HSE audits and reviews as per annual HSE Audit plan and schedule.
• Convey audit results to responsible parties and management to take proper action.
• Supervise the investigation of all incidents including near misses and undertake steps to prevent recurrence.
• Coach and guide new HSE hires.
• Conduct annual and periodic reviews of the HSE staff performance according to the guidelines of the company Performance Management process.
• In consultation with line management, acquire site NCRs, inspection, investigation, audit reports/checklists, analyse and report on emerging themes, recommendations made and corrective actions.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• International Health & Safety certification (e.g., NEBOSH or equivalent).
• Current training in ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 Management Systems.
Details of experience
• Minimum 8 years of experience in a fast-paced industry such as Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Engineering, Logistics, or Construction.
• At least 4 years in a managerial or supervisory QHSSE or technical role.
• Proven experience in implementing or auditing ISO Management Systems
• Experience in Quality Assurance within a PMO environment
• Experience in development and maintaining of IMS with all the relevant processes within these Systems
