Job Summary:
The Health Information Assistant will manage and maintain health data and records in the district health facilities. This includes assisting in data collection, entering data into health management information systems, generating reports, and ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of health records. The Health Information Assistant will also help in coordinating health surveys and supporting health information systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collect, process, and manage health data in health centers.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of health records.
• Enter data into health management information systems (HMIS).
• Generate reports based on health data and support decision-making processes.
• Assist in organizing and conducting health surveys and assessments.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of health information.
Qualifications and Experience:
• A Diploma in Health Information Management or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in health information management or data entry.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of health data management systems and information reporting.
