JOB DETAILS:

Overall Purpose:

To promote a safe work culture, prevent accidents, and ensure compliance with all occupational health and safety regulations on the project site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor the project HSE Plan.
• Conduct daily site safety inspections and risk assessments.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions/acts.
• Organize and deliver HSSE inductions and toolbox talks.
• Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Manage work permit systems (hot work, confined space, etc.).
• Maintain safety records and statistics.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma or degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5-8 years of HSE experience in heavy construction or oil & gas.
• Professional certification (NEBOSH IGC, IOSH, OSHA) is mandatory.
• First Aid and Firefighting certification.
