Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Headteacher located at our campus in Kampala. The Headteacher will be responsible for providing strategic leadership to the school, overseeing curriculum development, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning, and fostering an inclusive and nurturing learning environment. Daily responsibilities include managing faculty performance, engaging with students and parents, and ensuring adherence to international educational standards. The Headteacher will also play a crucial role in promoting the vision, values, and mission of KDIS.

Qualifications

Strong background in Curriculum Development and Pedagogy

Comprehensive understanding of Education practices and Educational Leadership

Excellent Communication skills to engage effectively with staff, students, and parents

Proven ability to manage teams, implement strategic initiatives, and maintain high academic standards

Experience with the Cambridge International British Curriculum is highly desirable

Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field

Prior experience as a Headteacher in an International School or in a similar leadership role is advantageous
