Qualifications and Experience:
• Must possess a Bachelor’s Honors Degree in Education from a recognized institution
• Must be registered as a graduate teacher with Ministry of Education and Sports
Must have seven years working experience with at least three years in the position of a Head teacher or director of studies in a reputable secondary school handling dual curriculum.
• Post graduate training in education management is an added advantage

• Good interpersonal skills and approachable by both parents and students
• Good customer care skills
• Computer literacy
• Ability to inspire and influence both learners and teachers

Key roles and responsibilities
• Be the Chief Executive, Accounting Officer and the spokesperson of the school.
• Prepare the Annual Operational Plan/Budget of the school and ensure the effective implementation of the same.
Be responsible for the collection of all school fees and other revenues due to the school.
• Develop and implement all the required policies and procedures for the effective and efficient administration of the school.
• Be responsible for the safety and security of the learners, school land, buildings, other properties and assets of the school.
• Be the Secretary to the Board of Governors and to work with the Chairperson to prepare for Board meetings and implement resolutions.
To develop and implement mechanisms for monitoring and evaluating the quality of teaching and learning at the school so to achieve high academic standards.
• Ensure the monitoring and evaluation of the teachers and other staff performance by use of the various monitoring tools.
• To ensure that the welfare and well-being of the students, teachers and other staff is upheld.
• To develop and maintain mechanisms that promotes religious education, secures high standards of discipline and guarantees good moral behaviors of staff and the learners.
• To ensure that students develop study skills in order to learn more effectively and with increasing independence.
• To develop, organize and implement a policy for the personal, social and moral development of students
• Be ready to perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time
