Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Sales to lead our sales operations and drive revenue growth. This role requires a strategic leader with a proven track record in sales management and exceptional leadership skills to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team. The position is based in Kampala, Uganda.

Job Description/Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Lead, manage, and motivate the sales team to achieve performance goals.
  • Analyze sales performance data and provide actionable insights for growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Oversee territory-based sales activities to ensure maximum market coverage.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align sales objectives with company goals.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards in all sales activities.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years in a sales management role, preferably in telecom, fintech, or related industries.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and Luganda.
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools and other sales technologies.
  • Candidates with access to a reliable vehicle are preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver under tight deadlines.
