Job Summary
The job holder will develop and grow the business by developing and implementing strategic interventions for the different distribution channels, building a good relationship between clients, agents and brokers in a manner that ensures achievement of set business targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- To design and execute the company's distribution strategy and budgeting to achieve profitable growth and market leadership
- To develope informal SMEs and Micro Entrepreneurship channels and distribute corporate and retail solutions that fit these channels
- To participate inn reseach and product development, testing and roll out unique the local market
- To create special partnerships with Banks , schools, Telecommunications and other institutions to act as aggregators of bulk insurance products and provide responses to queries raised in regard to the company's products
- To maintain new business flow, manage and give direction to all the distribution channels
- To prospect for new business and follow up on quotations
- To Monitor renewals before due date to ensure renewal capture
- To manage correspondences relating to Brokers/Agents and direct clients
Minimum qualifications and Work Experience:
- A University degree in Business Administration, BCOM or equivalent
- Atleast 8 years of experience in Marketing and distribution in a service industry, Insurance, Finance
- Qualified in CIM/ACII will be an added advantage
