Job Summary

The job holder will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients (large portfolios), companies, organisations, institutions, by providing a full spectrum of products and services to growing and retaining Life business. The incumbent is individually accountable for achieving results through managing the corporate line of business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Individually accountable for staff productivity, time, tasks and quality output in the Corporate Business Development Unit
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with stakeholders, Banks, Companies, Organisations and Institutions.
  • Builds and manages external relationships-brokers, agencies
  • Delivers, maintains and enhances service / work standards and work quality within a given process.
  • Manages daily operational (client service and or administrative) delivery within the specific functional area
  • Manages all contracted client deliveries relevant to each product line of the Corporate Business
  • Ensures that relevant role players are involved where needed to conclude business deals.
  • Produces a year planner for all deliveries in conjunction with the Production Team.
  • Develops marketing and hospitality calendar to support corporate distribution activities

Minimum qualifications and Work Experience:

  • University Degree in Business related fields and Marketing
  • Atleast 3 years of experience in Marketing and Distribution of a service.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Ability to deliver results when objectives are set
  • Excellent relationship management skills
  • High level of initiative and self-motivation
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office suite of programs
  • Task and time management proficiency
  • Ability to work independently while demonstrating excellent team working skills
  • Good communications skills
  • Resilience to cope with pressure of working in a fast paced, dynamic and rapidly changing customer expectations environment
