About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and creative Head Chef to lead our kitchen operations. The successful candidate will oversee food preparation, menu development, kitchen staff management, and quality control while ensuring exceptional dining experiences and compliance with food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all kitchen operations and staff.
- Design and develop innovative, high-quality menus.
- Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation, and portion control.
- Manage food costs, inventory, and supplier relationships.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen cleanliness.
- Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff.
- Monitor kitchen budgets and minimize food waste.
- Collaborate with management to develop seasonal menus and promotions.
Requirements
- Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts or a related field.
- Relevant experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Creativity, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
