Innovation Streams Limited (istreams) is a Ugandan I.T company that empowers businesses and the community in Africa with suitable and affordable technologies that meet, simplify and exceed their needs. We are looking for a talented ‘innovative stream’ to join our team of ‘innovation streams’.

Role:  The Hardware integration expert will build an API that allows identification of patients through finger print scanners. The expert will also build an API that allows authentication of users on Stre@mline by finger print scanners.
In this role, you’ll work collaboratively with software engineering to integrate finger print scanners with our software Stre@mline. Stre@mline is a web application with a MySQL database.
You will also build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and troubleshoot and resolve issues that could arise. You will also document and train our staff on how to replicate this process.

Remuneration
The expert will be paid a consultation fee that is negotiable and commensurate with their experience.

Key deadlines
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. The consultant will begin working on the task immediately.  Duration of the consultant: 2 months
