As we expand our product offerings beyond lending, we are seeking a Growth Manager to drive the growth of our retail banking products, including savings accounts (long-term and short-term deposits), current accounts, and other non-lending financial services.
Role Overview:
As the Growth Manager for Retail Banking, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing growth strategies to drive customer acquisition, activation, engagement, and retention for FairMoney’s savings and current accounts. You will work closely with Product, Data, Marketing, and Operations teams to build a strong user base, optimize funnels, and ensure seamless customer journeys.
Requirements
• 5-8 years of experience in a growth, digital marketing, or performance marketing role within fintech, banking, e-commerce, or a high-growth startup.
• Strong understanding of growth marketing, offline acquisition, digital acquisition, lifecycle marketing, and data-driven decision-making.
• Experience in managing multi-channel campaigns, including paid media, referral programs, CRM, and organic growth.
• Strong analytical skills, and experience with SQL, Google Analytics, and data visualization tools.
• Hands-on experience with A/B testing, conversion optimization, and retention marketing.
• Ability to develop and execute strategies with limited resources in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
• Passion for financial inclusion and empowering Nigerians with fair banking solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Growth Strategy & Execution:
• Develop and own the growth strategy for FairMoney’s retail banking products (savings, deposits, current accounts).
• Identify and prioritize key growth levers across customer acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization.
• Define and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, including paid marketing, offline acquisitions, Telesales, referrals, affiliates, influencers, social media, email, push notifications, and in-app messaging.
• Monitor and optimize the customer journey and conversion funnel to maximize sign-ups and engagement.
2. Customer Acquisition & Engagement:
• Design and implement highly effective acquisition campaigns targeting new and existing customers.
• Develop and manage lifecycle marketing programs, including onboarding, activation, cross-sell, and upsell strategies.
• Build and execute strategies to improve customer engagement, reducing churn and increasing product stickiness.
• Develop partnership strategies with relevant financial service providers, agents, and platforms.
3. Data-Driven Growth & Performance Optimization:
• Define KPIs to track performance across the entire customer funnel (acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, LTV).
• Analyze and leverage customer insights to optimize acquisition, engagement, and monetization strategies.
• Conduct A/B tests and iterate on growth initiatives based on performance data.
• Develop dashboards and reports to track the effectiveness of campaigns.
4. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
• Work closely with Product & UX teams to ensure a seamless, intuitive customer experience.
• Collaborate with the Operations team to improve customer success and drive satisfaction.
• Partner with external providers (marketing agencies, fintech platforms, affiliates) to drive growth.
• Ensure alignment of the growth strategy with FairMoney’s overall business objectives.
