Job Overview:

The Group Loan Officer will be responsible for mobilizing and recruiting potential clients for group loans, assessing loan applications, and ensuring proper monitoring and follow-up on repayments. This role requires strong interpersonal skills and an understanding of financial  literacy to guide clients in making informed decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, recruit, and mobilize potential clients for group loans.
• Conduct financial literacy training sessions for loan applicants.
• Assess and analyze loan applications to determine client eligibility.
• Monitor loan repayments and ensure timely collection.
• Conduct follow-ups on defaulters and implement recovery strategies.
• Maintain accurate client records and prepare periodic reports.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster trust and loyalty.

Requirements:

• Recent graduate (2022 to date) with a degree or diploma in Business, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet set targets.
• Passion for the microfinance sector and financial inclusion.

• Duration: 3 Months Graduate Trainee Program.
• Location: Fort Portal, Uganda.

• Remuneration: Unpaid training program with a stipend provided for basic expenses.
