About Us:
Kandor Exports Limited is a leading agricultural company dedicated to promoting sustainable farming practices. We own and operate a 7.5-acre farm in Nakitokolo Kyikusa, Uganda, focusing on the cultivation of various crops through advanced greenhouse technology. We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Greenhouse Attendant to join our team and support our mission of achieving high productivity and environmental sustainability.

Job Description:
Responsibilities:
• Assist in the daily operations of the greenhouse, including planting, watering, fertilizing, and pruning plants.
• Monitor the health of plants and apply appropriate treatments for pests and diseases.

• Maintain and operate irrigation systems to ensure efficient water usage.

• Ensure the greenhouse environment is optimal for plant growth by regulating temperature, humidity, and light levels.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of greenhouse equipment and facilities.

• Record and report data on plant growth, health, and production.
• Assist in the harvesting and packaging of crops for distribution.

• Follow all safety and sanitation protocols to maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in greenhouse operations is a must.
• Knowledge of plant care, pest management, and irrigation systems.

• Ability to work in varying temperatures and humidity levels typical of a greenhouse environment.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Physical ability to perform tasks that involve bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
