Bujagali Energy Ltd owns and operates a 250MW hydro power plant on the Nile river, 8km north of Jinja, Uganda. The power plant was commissioned in 2012 and since then has been supplying energy to the Ugandan grid. The organization now desires to enroll Graduate Trainees on a one-year-long program based at the plant.
.Job Title: Graduate Trainee – Finance and Administration
Reports to: Chief Finance Officer

Specific responsibilities and duties include:
• Participate in all training programs of the company.
• Execute Finance and Administration duties for Bujagali Energy
• Assist the Finance and Administration Department with accounts payable, accounts receivable, budget entry.
• Support accounting functions as assigned by finance staff.
• Since this position is viewed as a learning opportunity, special projects may be assigned.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting or Finance
