JOB DETAILS:
We are seeking to recruit Graduate Teacher Trainee to support Christian Education and raise leaders in the Watoto schools by, facilitating the teaching, learning, skill and moral development of the Watoto children.

Key Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to).

 

 

• Actively participate in the lessons plan, preparation, and ensure smooth delivery methods aligned with curriculum standards.
• Support in the implementation of effective teaching strategies that cater to diverse learning styles.

 

 

• Conduct assessments to evaluate student progress and maintain accurate records of academic performance.

 

 

• Provide guidance on educational and social matters, helping students make informed decisions about their future.

 

 

• Support the implementation of school discipline policies, procedures that aim to foster a safe and respectful classroom atmosphere.
• Collaborate with school administration to address behavioural challenges and encourage selfdiscipline among learners.
• Promote the overall welfare of students in alignment with school values and guidelines.

 

 

• Participate in mentorship programs that aim to support student personal and academic development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to introduce new skills, building activities and co-curricular programs that benefit learners.
• Support learners in the development of practical skills and supervision during school-related activities.
• Hold regular one-on-one meetings with students to discuss academic progress and personal development.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience.
• The applicant for the role should hold at least a Bachelor's degree in education in Education.
• Fresh graduates and those who have completed Education. No experience required.
• Ability to undergo a one year on-job training.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills. High degree of flexibility and initiative.
• Commitment to work within a team environment and ability to work under minimum supervision.
• Pedagogical skills, creative and Innovative Skills.
• Knowledge of computer skills in word, excel and PowerPoint.
