Job Description/Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
1. GPS Monitoring:
• Install and maintain GPS tracking devices on all financed vehicles and electronic products.
• Monitor the real-time location of assets through the GPS tracking system.
• Ensure all tracking systems are functioning correctly and troubleshoot any issues.
2. Asset Recovery:
• Develop and implement strategies for the recovery of assets in cases of default or theft.
• Coordinate with law enforcement agencies for the recovery of stolen or defaulted assets.
• Manage and execute recovery operations in a safe and efficient manner.
3. Customer Interaction:
• Communicate with customers regarding the importance and functionality of GPS tracking systems.
• Address any customer concerns or questions about the tracking and recovery processes.
• Work with delinquent customers to resolve payment issues before initiating recovery procedures.
4. Reporting and Documentation:
• Maintain detailed records of all assets, including their GPS tracking status and recovery efforts.
• Prepare regular reports on asset tracking and recovery operations.
• Document all recovery actions and customer interactions accurately.
5. Collaboration:
• Work closely with the finance and customer service departments to identify and address potential recovery cases.
• Collaborate with external partners, including law enforcement and recovery agencies, to ensure efficient asset retrieval.
6. Compliance and Security:
• Ensure all tracking and recovery activities comply with company policies and legal regulations.
• Maintain high standards of data security and customer privacy.
Qualifications:
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of GPS tracking systems and technology.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle high-stress situations and work under pressure.
• Proficiency in using tracking software and recovery tools.
Preferred Attributes:
• Experience in the finance or automotive industry.
• Knowledge of Ugandan regulations and procedures related to asset recovery.
• Familiarity with law enforcement protocols and procedures.
