• Ensure 24 hours of operational readiness of all maintenance services to encourage guest retention.
• Achieve declining routine complaints, have the shortest response time on complaints on guest rooms and any other technical issues that may reduce guest satisfaction and retention.

Maintenance Operations

• Read work order and receive instructions from supervisor
• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on plumbing systems
• Maintain and repair general plumbing components to include toilets, urinals, faucets, hose bibs, and drains
• Install, repair, and/or replace hot and cold-water lines.
• Repair and replace pneumatic steam valves, radiator valves, traps, and steam and condensate pipes.
• Repair and replace hot water heat pumps, chilled water pumps, sump pumps, and sewage pumps.
• Mark location and bore holes at marked places in floor joists for pipes, using tape measure, template, and power auger
• Select and insert pre-cut pieces of copper tubing and fittings in holes.
• Connect tubing/pipes and fitting, using solder, glue paste or solder and torch, to form sewer, drain, and water lines.
• Square tubing/piping projecting through floor to ensure snug fit of fixtures, using square, wedges, and hammer, glues and solders fixtures to tubing/piping.
• Assist troubleshooting efforts.
• Assist in other departmental duties as and when required.
