About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized, strategic, and results-driven General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a growing media station with Television, Radio, and Digital platforms. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth coordination across departments, operational efficiency, compliance, and strong team performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership: Provide overall operational leadership for TV, Radio, and Digital platforms.
- Execution: Translate organizational strategy into operational plans and measurable targets.
- Resource Management: Ensure efficient use of resources, budgets, and staff.
- Compliance: Oversee internal controls, policies, and regulatory compliance.
- Performance: Drive performance management and accountability across all departments.
- Growth: Support revenue growth through collaboration with Sales and Programming teams.
- Stakeholder Link: Act as the key bridge between management, staff, and external partners.
Supervisory Scope:
You will coordinate and supervise the heads of these departments:
- Accountant
- Administrator
- Programs Manager – TV
- Programs Manager – Radio
- Sales Manager
- Social Media Manager
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or Media Studies.
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in operations or senior management.
- Strong leadership, coordination, and financial literacy.
- Excellent people-management and communication skills.
