We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a General Manager based in Uganda. The ideal candidate will provide strategic direction, operational oversight, and financial leadership, ensuring the company’s success in the electrical contracting industry.
Key Responsibilities
• Strategic Leadership – Develop and implement company strategies, oversee projects, and secure project financing.
• Project Management – Lead and manage electrical contracting projects efficiently.
• Operational Oversight – Supervise daily operations across all departments to ensure efficiency.
• Financial Management – Prepare and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and align company goals with profitability.
• Team Leadership – Mentor and develop staff to build a high-performance culture.
• Client & Stakeholder Management – Strengthen relationships with clients, suppliers, and partners.
• Regulatory Compliance & Safety – Ensure adherence to industry regulations and safety standards.
• Performance Tracking – Implement performance metrics, oversee tendering, and secure projects for the company.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in a managerial role within the electrical contracting industry.
• Strong expertise in electrical systems, safety regulations, and project execution.
• Excellent leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
