About the job

Oversee complete procurement activities for our plants.
Lead contract negotiations with suppliers, covering agreements such as General Purchase, Machine Procurement, and Annual Maintenance Contracts.
Ensure total order fulfillment by planning effective procurement based on weekly forecasts with a focus on cost, quality, and delivery.
Monitor key indices such as supplier delivery accuracy, days of supply, purchase price variance, supplier performance, and inventory reduction programs.
Develop alternate vendor sources and logistic arrangements for cost-effective material management.
Lead capital plant and machinery procurement projects, ensuring timely delivery, installation, commissioning, and manufacturing start dates.
Manage the execution of projects such as civil works, plant sheds, machine foundations, and electrical connections.
Identify and develop dedicated vendor sources for cost-effective procurement of raw materials, consumables, and equipment.
Evaluate vendor performance based on criteria such as rejections, quality improvement rates, timely delivery, and purchase costs.
Analyze transit times and control losses in transit, making logistical contracts for different destinations and projects.
