The GL Financial Supervisor oversees the full spectrum of General Ledger functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial records and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Supervise GL Operations: Oversee all General Ledger activities, including journal reviews, reconciliations, and financial reporting, while leading month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes .
• Review and Reconcile: Review balance sheet schedules, ensure proper accruals and provisions are recorded, and resolve discrepancies including suspense accounts and intercompany balances .
• Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal financial policies; coordinate with external auditors and tax agents .
• Team  Management: Supervise and guide finance team members, allocate tasks, monitor deadlines, and support team development and training .
• Tax and Statutory Compliance: Ensure accurate submission of tax returns (VAT, Withholding), NAPSA, NHIMA, and other statutory obligations .
• Internal Controls: Strengthen internal controls and ensure proper documentation and audit trails
