Job Description/Requirements

MCCF is seeking a highly motivated and innovative Fundraising Officer (m/f) to join them. This role is crucial in driving fundraising efforts by leveraging digital strategies, engaging potential donors, increasing our website visibility and fostering partnerships that align with MCCF missions. The ideal candidate will have a background in digital marketing, fundraising, and donor engagement, coupled with excellent organizational and communication skills as well as a strong motivation to help vulnerable children.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Fundraising Strategy Development and Execution: Research and identify potential funding sources, including grants, corporate partnerships, and individual donors. Build and maintain relationships with donors, ensuring consistent communication and stewardship. Develop tailored proposals and presentations to secure funding from diverse sources.
  2. Digital Fundraising Campaigns: Design, execute, and manage innovative digital fundraising initiatives, such as crowdfunding, peer-to-peer campaigns, and email donation drives.-Coordinate with internal teams to ensure campaigns align with overall branding and messaging.
  3. Website and SEO Optimization: Develop strategies to increase website traffic, engagement, and donor conversion rates. Optimize website content for SEO, ensuring high visibility on search engines. Monitor website analytics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  4. Social Media and Content Management-Create, curate, and schedule engaging content across key social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn-Develop and execute social media campaigns to support fundraising efforts and increase community engagement. Track and report on social media performance, adjusting strategies based on data insights.
  5. Grant Writing and Reporting: Research, draft, and submit grant applications to secure funding from institutional donors.
  6. Ensure compliance with grant requirements, including timely submission of progress reports.-Maintain detailed records of all fundraising activities and donor interactions.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Non-profit Management, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in fundraising, digital marketing, or related roles.
  • Proven track record in designing and implementing successful fundraising campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and digital content optimization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including grant writing.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools, analytics platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
