Role Overview

We are looking for a Fullstack Developer to join our tech team. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and curious individual eager to grow in both frontend and backend development within a fast-paced, real-world environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Building, testing, and maintaining Dafric’s logistics platforms and internal tools
• Collaborate with the development team to implement new features and improve existing ones
• Write clean, maintainable code for both frontend and backend systems
• Assist in, reviewing, debugging, troubleshooting, and documenting issues
• Participate in team discussions and sprint reviews
• Contribute to UI/UX improvement based on user feedback

Preferred Tech Stack

• Frontend: Vue.js, HTML, Tailwind, CSS, JavaScript
• Backend: Laravel, REST/GraphQL APIs,
• Database:  MySQL
• Tools: Git, Docker,  Git
• Bonus: Familiarity with cloud platforms, mobile-first design

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• Hands-on experience with both frontend and backend development in relevant stacks
• Strong understanding of web fundamentals and modern development frameworks
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively
• Excellent communicator who can work with minimal supervision
• Self-driven, curious, and open to learning in a fast-moving environment
• Preferred: A Ugandan citizen
