JOB DETAILS:

Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science; or Law; or International Relations; or Diplomacy; or Economics; or Public Administration; or Management; or Development Studies; or Statistics; or Conflict Studies; or Information Communication and Technology; or Social Work and Social Administration; or Social Sciences; or Arts (with the following fields: languages and communication); or Journalism; or Mass Communication from a recognized University / Institution.

Working Experience

Duties
The incumbent will be responsible to the Foreign Service Officer Grade V for performing the following duties:-

-        Serving as Country/ Subject Desk Officers who are focal points and resource persons;

-        Collecting, studying and analyzing information and providing policy advice;

-        Preparing quality departmental briefs and reports;

-        Providing support services for meetings and other activities;

-        Handling inquiries and correspondences regarding the area of accreditation;

-        Handling protocol duties;

-        Handling consular duties;

Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
