By eating locally grown food, we can transform urban landscapes, while generating jobs and income. Consuming locally grown produce and fish reduces greenhouse gas emissions through less waste and shorter food supply chains. Urban Greens Ltd is an agritech business focused on making hydroponics & aquaponics accessible to urban growers.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or directly related field.
• 3 year experience within the food industry, particularly in a farm-to-market context.
• Solid foundation in food processing principles and food product development.
• Strong organisational skills to coordinate supply, processing, and delivery operations efficiently & good communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and customers.
• Attention to detail to safeguard hygiene and safety standards.
• Understanding of food safety regulations and standards
• Creativity and innovation to develop new food products and packaging solutions.
