Wagagai Mining (U) Ltd is a leading mining and metallurgical company with operations in Uganda. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Flotation Expert to join our team. As a Flotation Expert, you will play a critical role in optimizing our flotation circuits and improving the overall efficiency of our mineral processing operations.

Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Flotation Expert to join our metallurgical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing and troubleshooting flotation circuits, as well as developing and implementing new flotation strategies and technologies. You will work closely with operations and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations and identify opportunities for improvement.

Key Responsibilities
• Optimize and troubleshoot flotation circuits to improve the recovery and grade of valuable minerals.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to identify and resolve flotation circuit issues.

• Develop and implement training programs for flotation operators and maintenance personnel.

• Participate in plant audits and reviews to identify opportunities for improvement.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in flotation technology and research.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of flotation principles, reagents, and equipment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex technical information to non-technical personnel.

• Familiarity with mineral processing plant operations and maintenance.
