Job Title: Fleet Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet Manager to join our team. The Fleet Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our vehicle fleet, including maintenance, operations, safety, and budget management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fleet management, excellent organizational and leadership skills, and a passion for optimizing efficiency and performance.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive fleet management strategies to optimize vehicle utilization, minimize downtime, and reduce operational costs.
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of all vehicles in the fleet, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Manage fleet operations, including scheduling, dispatching, and routing vehicles to maximize productivity and meet customer demands.
• Monitor driver performance and adherence to company policies and procedures, implementing corrective action as necessary.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely procurement of parts and services at competitive prices.
• Analyze data and generate reports on fleet performance, fuel consumption, maintenance costs, and other key metrics to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and implement safety programs and training initiatives to promote a culture of safety and reduce the risk of accidents and injuries.
• Manage the fleet budget, tracking expenses and identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in fleet management, incorporating new technologies and methodologies as appropriate.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, transportation management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in fleet management, with a minimum of  5 years in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of fleet operation
