Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Promote sustainable fishing practices and enforce fishing regulations.
2. Monitor fish production activities and provide technical support to fisherfolk.
3. Support the establishment and management of fish breeding sites.
4. Conduct community training on aquaculture and fisheries management.
5. Prepare and submit reports on fisheries activities and challenges.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. A degree in Fisheries Science, Aquaculture, or related field from a recognized institution.
2. At least 2 years of experience in fisheries management.
3. Knowledge of government fisheries policies and regulations.
4. Good community training and mobilization skills.

• Applications are invited from suitably qualified Ugandans to fill the following vacant posts in the Bunyangabu District Service and Delivery (All Uganda Government Local Governments). Applications must be submitted in triplicate on Public Service Commission Form 3 Revised 2008 or ESC Form 3 Revised 1998. These forms are obtainable from Public Service Commission Offices or the offices of District Service Commissions countrywide. Applications must be submitted to:
