JOB DETAILS:

Job Summary:
The Financial Officer / Accountant will handle financial planning, bookkeeping, tax compliance, and ensure strong internal controls are in place.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and budgets.
- Manage day-to-day accounting tasks and cash flow.
- Ensure compliance with URA, NSSF, and statutory regulations.
- Assist in audits and maintain proper documentation.
- Advise management on cost-saving and risk mitigation.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA/ACCA Level II or higher is strongly preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of Ugandan tax laws and statutory obligations.
- Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Tally, or Sage).
