Jakana Foods Ltd, a leading producer of high-quality dried fruits and gourmet food products located in Kawempe, is looking for a Financial Controller to join our dynamic team. If you have a strong background in financial management, budgeting, and strategic planning, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, reporting, and compliance.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to support business growth.

• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Ensure tax compliance and regulatory adherence.
• Optimize financial systems and controls for efficiency.
• Support senior management with financial insights and recommendations.

Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (CPA/ACCA qualification preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the food or manufacturing industry.

• Familiarity with different accounting systems; expertise in QuickBooks is an added advantage.

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and tax regulations.
• Excellent analytical and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, growing environment.
