Background:

Welthungerhilfe (WHH) is one of Germany’s largest non-governmental aid and development agencies, working in Uganda since 1986. The Finance Officer will ensure compliance with financial management, procurement, and HR standards across programs and projects.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the focal point for compliance administration.
• Ensure project funds are managed in line with regulations.
• Support preparation of financial documents and reports.
• Monitor management of relief supplies, assets, and inventory.
• Review procurement, logistics, and HR compliance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
• Minimum five years’ experience in project financial administration.
• CPA, CIMA, or ACCA membership is an advantage.

Experience:

Minimum five years’ experience in project financial administration, preferably with international NGOs.
