Responsibilities

• Manage financial transactions, financial planning, and bookkeeping, while assisting in developing and implementing comprehensive and robust financial reporting processes at Patasente.
• Follow standard accounting process for financial analysis and reporting activities.
• Produce comprehensive financial reports related to periodical financial statements and budgets, account payables, account receivables, expenses, etc.
• Develop long-term business plans based on these reports and review, monitor, and manage budgets
• Develop strategies that work to minimize financial risk
• Evaluate existing accounting system, develop and put into practice procedures for handling finances and accounting, review accounting discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist in developing and managing budgeting system, monitor and manage expenses within allotted budgets.
• Identify and resolve any billing issues, accounting discrepancies, and other financial-related problems.
• Track and monitor resource needs and other material needs for carrying out financial and administrative tasks.
• Develop and maintain financial and business policies, controls, and reporting procedures.  Ensures that fiscal and business activities comply with national laws
• Manage and ensure tax reporting obligations are timely fulfilled
• Other duties assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• University degree in finance, management, or equivalent.
• ACCA is an added advantage.
• Comfortable interacting with all levels of management in multiple areas.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting.
• Ability to review data and make relevant management decisions.
• Minimum 3-years experience in the same field
• Advanced knowledge in Excel and Quick books accounting software
