Roles and Responsibilities:

·         Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

·         Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to support decision-making and strategic planning.

·         Manage day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance.

·         Coordinate with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies to ensure timely and accurate filings and compliance with tax laws and regulations.

·         Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and working capital requirements to optimize cash management and liquidity positions.

·         Provide financial analysis and insights to support business initiatives, investment decisions, and cost optimization efforts.

·         Conduct financial risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate financial risks and exposures.

·         Lead and mentor the finance team, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities to enhance their skills and performance.

Daily Work Description:

·         Review and approve financial transactions, including invoices, expense reports, and journal entries.

·         Monitor financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying variances and investigating discrepancies.

·         Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management and stakeholders.

·         Coordinate with department heads to develop and monitor departmental budgets and spending.

·         Analyze financial data and trends to identify opportunities for cost savings, revenue enhancement, and efficiency improvements.

·         Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax laws, and regulatory standards in all financial activities.

·         Communicate regularly with senior management and stakeholders to provide updates on financial performance, risks, and opportunities.

Required Skills:

·         Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field;

·         Proven experience in financial management, accounting, and reporting, preferably in a startup or technology-driven organization.

·         In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis techniques, and financial planning and forecasting.

·         Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, with experience using Odoo and Tally preferred.

·         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make strategic recommendations.

·         Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

·         Attention to detail and accuracy, with a commitment to maintaining high standards of integrity and compliance.

·         Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
