Essar Projects is the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) arm of Essar with over five decades’ experience of executing mega projects across various segments like Infrastructure, Hydrocarbons, Minerals & Metals, Cross-country Pipelines, Power and Renewable Energy. The core EPC capabilities of the company span across greenfield, brownfield, upstream and downstream sectors, construction projects, engineering and project management consultancy. It has a successful track record in project execution across key markets such as India, Middle East, Europe, South-East Asia, America and also come challenging geographies of Africa and Papua New Guinea.

We are looking for following qualified and experienced professional for our Uganda Project:

Job Role:

1. Co-ordination and control on the project site with respect to:

a. Client billing, collections and relationship

b. Cost control, vendor/sub-contractor relationship

c. Procurement plan, payment plan towards procurement w.r.t billing to client

d. Sub-contractor billing, payment, retention, guarantees, etc

2. Ensure cost to complete for each project are accurate based on latest available information:

a. Driving improvements in project finance control

3. Proactive involvement in project operations and ensure issues with financial impact are highlighted and addressed in time.

4. Review and provide inputs on client claims.

5. Preparation of reports for Senior management review meetings:

a. Lead internal reporting function.

b. Review monthly project trial balances and support MIS team in accurate reporting.

c. Support Management Board, shareholder and lenders reporting (actual, forecast & budget) related to revenues, margins, working capital and cash flow.

6. Ensure accurate P&L and cash flow Reports - actuals, budgets and forecasts:

a. Monitoring Payables and receivables statement.

7. Ensure completion of audited financial statements within strict timelines.

8. Banking relationship:

a. To prepare proposal to bank for Funds based and Non funds based facility.

b. Evaluate bank’s proposal – to reduce bank charges and margin.

9. Liaisoning with Central bank of state/country or local Exim bank, etc.

10. Tax planning and local tax compliances.

11. All statutory compliances as required by local law.

12. Co-ordinate for and Prepare annual business Plan.

13. Implementation of DOA

Qualification:

CA / ACCA / ACA

CS would be an added advantage

Experience:

8-10 years

Additional Requirements for the Job:
