Project Financial Literacy Training for refugee youth

Contract duration 3 – 4 Months, starting from 1st November 2022
Location At various Refugee Settlements in Uganda. Applicant must be willing to accept any assigned location.
Reports To Financial Literacy Team Leader

Job purpose:
The primary responsibility of this position to plan and organise financial literacy trainings at refugee settlement level, including selection of refugee youth to be trained in a 6-week course. She/he is to identify, train and support volunteer FLT Trainers, provide advice and mentoring on adult teaching methodologies and on financial literacy course content, monitor training delivery and collect data.

Qualification and Competencies
• Bachelor’s degree in Adult Education/ Pedagogy, Business Skills, Livelihood, Community Development, combined with some knowledge about financial literacy.
• At least 1-year professional work experience with communities and NGOs.
• Willingness to work and live in rural project location.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and achieve results.
• Ability to use standard computing packages.
• Motorcycle riding skill is a MUST. This will be verified with interviewed candidates.
