WE ARE HIRING

The role involves managing and processing cargo through all customs formalities, ensuring that each shipment is diligently handled, efficiently cleared, and delivered safely to its destination within the target timeframe of three days from clearance while maintaining high standards of accuracy, compliance and operational efficiency.

What You’ll Do:

• Collect and compile shipping documents for customs processing and liaise with customs officers.
• Represent AGL during physical verification of cargo and ensure timely uploading of verification accounts.
• Oversee re-sealing of packages and supervise loading and unloading to prevent damages or shortages.
• Coordinate with the COM and transporters to ensure timely truck positioning, loading and dispatch.
• Follow up on cargo releases from NDA, MAAIF, and UNBS authorities and ensure timely scanning and T1 documentation for transit goods.
• Ensure all relevant documents and exemptions are attached, maintain complete shipment files and forward them to the Client Operations Manager.
• Alert and inform management of operational issues, changes in airport operations or any other relevant information.

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 2 years’ experience in clearing operations
• Good knowledge of customs system
• Excellent communicator
• Customer service skills, interpersonal skills
