Job Description/Requirements
Location: Central business region (Downtown) -Kampala
Role Summary: The field officer is responsible for mobilizing clients, collecting and banking daily customer repayments in a timely and secure manner, and maintaining a high-quality portfolio. The role involves building and managing strong client relationships, ensuring financial literacy, and proactively resolving repayment challenges. The officer is expected to maintain accurate records, provide daily reports, and ensure consistent field engagement with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and Engage New Clients: Proactively look for and approach potential customers to promote and sell the company’s products and services.
- Conduct Field Visits for Collections: Visit clients in the field to collect payments daily in line with company policies and procedures.
- Build and Maintain Customer Relationships: Ensure excellent customer service by maintaining strong, professional relationships and following up on customer inquiries and needs.
- Collect and Verify Client Information: Gather all necessary customer details while strictly following the company’s Know Your Customer (KYC) guidelines.
- Provide Customer Feedback: Share any client feedback, concerns, or complaints with your supervisor in a timely and accurate manner.
- Meet Sales and Collection Targets: Work with a flexible schedule and remain focused on meeting or exceeding set targets for both sales and collections.
Qualifications & Competencies:
- Diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Microfinance, or related field.
- Experience in sales, client relationship management, or financial services is an advantage; fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills (Luganda proficiency is preferred).
- Integrity, Goal-oriented, self-driven, and team-focused.
- Ability to organize fieldwork, navigate communities, and maintain accurate records.
- Age: 20 to 28 years
