We invest in the agency and God-given potential of our clients and see God grow new small businesses, human potential, and children’s futures through our work.

Join VisionFund’s Faith and Development team in supporting the most vulnerable through faith-integrated development. You will help implement the Empowered Worldview (EWV) and Mission Immersion Program (MIP), contributing to meaningful work that transforms lives across the world.

What You'll Do:

  • Support Curriculum Development: Assist in consolidating SLA results, do desk research, talk to other EWV subject matter experts, organize working groups of Transformational Impact Managers (TIMs) to draft learning sessions, design flipcharts using the EWV learning template, schedule and track session pilots, and make revisions based on learning.
  • Facilitate Digital Rollout: Participate in the rollout of the EWV training digital tracking tool from VF Uganda to other MFIs across Africa.
  • Document Impact Stories: Collaborate with Transformation Impact Managers (TIMs) to gather and document quality impact stories from the field.

Why Join us:

  • Professional Growth: Develop skills in planning, data collection and analysis, creative reporting, and virtual collaboration.
  • Faith-Based Learning: Deepen your understanding of Transformational Development and diverse faith expressions through hands-on experience.
  • Global Exposure: Connect with regional teams across Africa and gain insight into international microfinance operations.
  • Expand Your Horizons: Explore the international relief sector, unleash your leadership skills, and strengthen your Christian faith with Weekly Professional Development Sessions
  • Transform Lives: Take on challenging and meaningful work assignments while developing your technical skills and gaining valuable hands-on experience.
  • Join an Inspiring Community: Form connections with a diverse nationwide intern cohort and colleagues who, inspired by their Christian faith, support children of all backgrounds, even in the most dangerous places.

What You'll Bring:

  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent writing and cross-cultural communication abilities.
  • Development Knowledge: Basic understanding of international development and a passion for serving others.
  • Personal Attributes: Willingness to learn, meet deadlines, and engage with diverse teams.
  • Passion to serve others: You are passionate about using your God-given talents and are keen to widen your hands-on experience in the poverty and microfinance sector.
